The wellbeing and safety of our guests and associates is of paramount importance.
A|S Boutique Residence is constantly closely monitoring the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and World Health Organization’s statements regarding the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) cases and following guidelines from these agencies and the local health departments and the Cuban government.
In response to changing marketplace conditions, A|S Boutique Residence is committed to ensuring our customers experience flexibility during these challenging times. Therefore we inform you about the following measures regarding a cancellation:
1. STANDARD CANCELLATION TERMS .
Any cancellation will incur a charge in full from the moment that the reservation has been confirmed.
2. COVID-19 CANCELLATION TERMS
This property offers easy COVID-19 cancellation terms:
Cancellations made due to a positive COVID-19 test need to be verified by email with a copy of the official test result document. In case of official travel restrictions due to the COVID-19 pandemic or a positive COVID-19 test result, guests can cancel free of charge up to one week before the arrival date. For a COVID-19 cancellation in the period of 7 days before arrival a one night fee will be charged.
Please note that for any reimbursements of payments due to a cancellation an administration and transfer fee of 20 Euro will be charged.
Please note that this policy does not apply to any reservations made via travel agents or platforms such as Expedia.com. The conditions mentioned at their websites are applicable.

We focus on developing the next level of global cleanliness standards, hospitality norms and behaviors regarding housekeeping, food safety, associate wellbeing, infectious disease and sanitation.
We take our high standards for hygiene and cleanliness very seriously and are taking additional steps to ensure the safety of our guests and associates. On a daily basis, we ensure that we meet the latest guidance on hygiene and cleaning. Our hotels’ health and safety measures are designed to address a broad spectrum of viruses, including COVID-19, and include everything from hand washing hygiene and cleaning product specifications to guest room and common area cleaning procedures. Specific steps the A|S Boutique Residence is taking include:
Hotel associates – and their own health, safety and knowledge – are essential to an effective cleaning program. Therefore we follow a strict housekeeping and hygiene protocol.
Cleaning Products and Protocols:
A|S Boutique Residence uses cleaning products and protocols which are effective against viruses, including COVID-19:
Guest Rooms: We use cleaning and disinfecting protocols to clean rooms after guests depart and before the next guest arrives, with particular attention paid to high-touch items.
Public Spaces: We have increased the frequency of cleaning and disinfecting in public spaces, with a focus on the tables, chairs, stairs, door handles, public bathrooms and even room keys and room amenities (nespresso machine, safety box, etc).
Back of House: In the spaces where associates work “behind the scenes,” hotels are increasing the frequency of cleaning and focusing on high-touch areas like associate entrances, kitchen, coffee bar and laundry rooms.
The A|S Boutique Residence is a large mansion with a limited of amount of guest rooms and guests. Therefore the hotel has enough space available to be able to keep the 2 meter distance from the other guests and the staff. At HAV Coffee & Art, which is the breakfast location at the ground floor of the mansion, we have now included our spacious HAV Art Gallery as an additional space to the restaurant place, which results in a very spacious area with more than enough space for social distancing.
